This short was made after a family vacation to Tunisia, it highlights the difficulty for families to reunite once the kids grow up and move out.
A Matching Pair (2023)
A man, a sock, and a strange world. This short was my pitch for a thesis film at TFS and although the project was never made this development promo remains.
Extreme Useless Fights (2023)
Who doesn’t love a fight scene? This short is an exaggeration of what an angry mom could do to a kid who doesn't do his chores. The video uses VFX and music to replicate the arcade games from the 90s.
Stranger In A Strange Land (2023)
This short showcases the brief 6+ months Frederick Garnerone spent living in Hong Kong back in 2019. It is an homage to the city and its many wonderful modern locations. The classical music represents the bitter-sweet end to the “Hong Kong adventure” due to the coronavirus outbreak that very year.
HORIZON [Trailer] (2023)
For an editing assignment at TFS, I created this trailer for the Spanish short film Horizon. The end result was not used for the official trailer, but I still find it quite nice.
Out Of Bound (2022)
This short created for TFS, was one of my first experiments with Adobe After Effects; the theme is loosely inspired by “The Matrix” 1999 and the twist is that the whole world is glitching around the main character.
30 Second Gun Dilemma (2022)
For the “silent scene” assignment during my time at Toronto Film School, I came up with a short idea of finding a gun in the bathroom and trying to get rid of it in 30 seconds; this created what I belive is one of my favorite projects I’ve created during my time at TFS.
Plunger Man [Fake Trailer] (2022)
This short was made during my time at Toronto Film School and was submitted for an assignment in production during my second term. The goal was to create an “action movie trailer” making fun of current movie trailer tropes.
Snow (2021)
Using only a drone, this short makes use of dynamic movements and zooms to showcase a hike in the snowy mountains of Italy; paired with a beautiful piano piece from Esther Abrami, the short creates a wonderland feeling.
Meet My T3 (2020)
As part of the IB Film Production program, we were tasked with showcasing an object or person we care about, with the project title being “Meet my …” In this case the short shows a Volkswagen T3 Syncro owned by Frederick Garnerone, during it’s restoration process.
Home Alone - Short Film (2020)
This short was an attempt to create a continuous shot (also called “oner”) using the first generation Parrot Drone (Bebop 1) as the drone did not have stabilization the short is now slightly outdated, but the techniques still hold up very well, especially with the final shot which required extreme precision and coordination to achieve.
